Top 5 things people hate about Blackberry

One of the most popular phones used by South African youth is Blackberry.  It became popular because of its Blackberry Internet Service AKA BIS and although that was super cool, there are many things about Blackberry phones that frustrated users. Here’s a list of the top 5 things people hate about Blackberry phones.

1.       Sorry! we're closing this page because it is too large to load.

You know when you click on a link or go to a website then your phone just decides that it does not want to go to this website and closes the page for you?
It nicely tells you “Sorry! we're closing this page because it is too large to load.”

2.       Battery too low for radio use.

Battery life on Blackberry sucks! You must charge your phone often or else you going to be hit with the line that renders your phone useless.  “Battery too low for radio use.”  Don’t you just hate when there’s no charger near by, your chat is getting interesting and that happens?

3.       “The Clock”

That clock that shows up every now and then because your phone wants a break from you pressing it’s buttons.

4.       Broadcast Messages

Yay! I have a message. Open the message and it’s some purple text that ends by telling you if you don’t pass this on something bad is going to happen to you.  You don’t need to send it nothing will happen to you buddy.

5.       “I just lost all my contacts please re-invite me”

This always always always happens to people some people more than once. Your phone decides that it wants to remove your contacts after you collected 100 but talk to 12.

You think that you’re in control of these phones but clearly you aren't these phone do want they want to do and there’s not much you can do about.

That’s the top 5 things Blackberry users complain about are there any other Blackberry hates that you have? Comment below.

Can you relate to all of those? If yes press share below and share on Facebook or Twitter.

Kim Kardashian gives birth

Kim Kardashian has given birth to a girl on Saturday 15 June, which is 5 weeks earlier than expected. It seems Kanye just about made to qualify for this fathers day. Apparently he's been a good father so far and cancelled a release party to be with Kim.

Things are happening quicker than expected for Kanye, first his album had a "early release" and now his child arrives. The baby is in good health but I can't say the same about his album.

ANC Website Attacked

A group of hackers called Anonymous Africa attacked the ANC website www.anc.org.za today. They announced at 9:10 am on twitter that they will be hitting in 50 mins. Here's a few tweets from the group that they sent out in the morning regarding the attack.

Ten minutes later they tweeted to the ANC about the attack

And then the site went down.

From the tweet its clear to see that the attack was for corruption and supporting Mugabe. They've stopped the attack and the website is back online

Don't look at my girlfriend prank

This dude walks around with his girlfriend telling other guys not to look at her. Take a look!

New Myspace Website

What once was a popular site for artist to share their music became kind of irrelevant over the past few years. I remember signing up but I was never interested, I think that's because I'm not an artist. Yes that's it. Anyway in an attempt revive the site they've decided to release a all new site. I admit it looks super cool but will that make it any more relevant? Most people response about the news on the new Myspace website were
"What's Myspace?"
 "Does that still even exist?"
 "Who uses Myspace?"

Have a look at their site. myspace

300: Rise of an Empire - Trailer

The movie 300 release in 2006 was super epic! It was announced earlier this year that there would be a sequel and now the first trailer has been released. This trailer got me super excited but the movie is only set to be release in March 2014. That's way to long but while we wait we can still get a sneak peak of how awesome it's going to be. PRESS PLAY!!!

4 features Facebook copied from Twitter

A list of Twitter features that Facebook found the need to also use.

1. @Mention

To tweet someone on twitter you place an @ in front of their username and they are notified about you tweet that simple. With Facebook you could send someone a message and write on their wall and that was cool but they weren't happy with that so made mentioning someone possible.

Facebook Clones in South Africa

There have been posts going on about Facebook clones or hackers that create a Facebook account using your name, photos and information. This is nothing new its been going on for quite some time but is now being spoken about more than ever in the past few weeks. The thing I find strange about this is that when people say have been cloned, I search for their profile but find only one of them, their original profile and no clone.

The world's first website

Ever wonder what the first website in the world was and how did it look?
No the first website wasn't google.

The world's first website was made by Tim Berners-Lee, a British computer scientist. The first address registered was Info.cern.ch which has been updated but they have restored an oldest version of the website that they could find, the original website was published on 6 August 1991 you can have a look at it here: http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html kinda shabby but that's where it all started more than 20 years ago and look what it's become. Awesome!
